Overall Personality:
Gabriella is very much of an observer. She takes everything in and takes it apart, analyzing it piece by piece. Every word that comes out of her mouth is well thought out and meaningful. She enjoys time alone but would really like to find someone to pass it by with. Her face is usually in a book which she speeds through, getting lost in another world. Her parents never really bothered with her much throughout her adolescence which explains her independence.
Gabriella tends to be the responsible one of the group, never smoking or drinking… it never appealed to her. Sometime she wishes she could just break out of her shell and be reckless but someone has to look after herself. Once you get close to her, she will never betray you. She cherishes those close to her and loves them with every ounce of herself.

Overall History:
Gabriella is an only child and typically that came along with being spoiled… that only lasted for her childhood years. As soon as she turned 13, she was pretty much on her own. She did everything herself and was lucky if she saw her parents once a week. They both worked full-time jobs in a corporate office with endless hours. Their jobs were their lives, their pride and joy. She quickly grew independent, cooking for herself, buying her own things, getting a job under the table. The world was hastily forced at her. It turned out to be for the better though… she could stand on her own two feet no matter what.
Growing up they did the typical American holidays but no effort or love was felt during those times. Waking up on Christmas morning, she lacked a child's normal excitement. Her parents gave her a few gifts and were pleasant but that was it for the rest of the day. They jumped around from family party to another and she was left to be "a good girl" in the living room while watching TV. Instead of watching TV, she read. She loved how she could thrown into another world... someone else's pleasant life.
She lived in the same town her whole life and attended Benton High School up until her junior year. She has had a few boyfriends here and there but nothing serious or rememberable. Gabriella liked to keep to herself mostly. She focused in school and received excellent grades. She never drank, went to parties, or did drugs... there was no appeal there. She was the exact opposite of reckless and it grounded her, it is how she made it without guidance.
She always had the same close knit group of friends and was happy with life until her parents decided it would be best for her to move with her Aunt and Uncle, Patricia and Jay a few months ago. Well, at least it wasn’t a drastic change. It was cold in Maine and it was cold in Brooklyn, NY. They just sat her down for a talk one day and told her she had no choice and it was for the best.
The biggest shock was that her parents actually made a decision in her life. Did they think it was for her own good or just to get rid of her? She never let it show but it always ate her up inside that they didn’t show their love. Maybe she’d like it better here. Start over, make new friends, and break out of her responsible shell. Speaking of friends, the one girl she confined in was being left behind in little ole' Benton, ME. Her name was Cassidy. They understood each other and were almost sisters. Cassidy was her complete opposite but maybe that is why it worked. Each other's life story was interesting and new.

Gabriella took a step outside the cozy home of her Aunt and Uncle. The rush of cold air bit at her nose but she didn’t mind. Winter happened to be her favorite season. It was beautiful and simple, just the way she liked things. She shuffled to her car with the frosty leaves crunching underneath her boots. Today would be her first day of school at Forks High School. Her heart was thumping and her mind was racing with the typical questions of a new student. Will they like me? Will I make new friends? Where will I sit at lunch? She had grew up in a small town in Maine and never moved, until now. She wasn’t used to change much but greeted it with open arms. New beginnings… Hoping into her car and shutting the coldness out, she shut the door. A deep sigh rolled out from her chest. Now or never… The key turned over and she was off. Maybe some tunes will relax me. Her icy hands reached out, feeling the warmth of the car's heat finally kicking in, and turned on the radio. She was sick of all the mainstream music on the radio and pushed in the power knob again. This was going to be quite a day.
