Hello, Dolly!
Brooklyn High School's musical and drama department has decided to put on another musical one of the largest it has ever had. Hello, Dolly is considered one of the most loved and longest running musicals in the U.S. Brooklyn has decided to bring the same magic to their own stage.
Hello, Dolly! is set in the city of Yonkers, New York and the main character being naturally Dolly Levi. Dolly is a matchmaker or as she likes to call it 'meddling' she has been assigned to find Horace Vandergelder wife. Although, it is her job she plans to find an incredibly horrid woman for Horace and marry him herself.
That's only the beginning, we will be discussing the plot and auditions will be held after school for one week. Luke Gillian and myself (Isabelle Langley) will be in charge of casting and music. If you wish to audition fill out the form bellow so we know whom you wish to be cast as, you may sign up for more than one and just because you sign up first doesn't mean you will be selected FOR THAT ROLE! You may end up with a role you never even signed up for! Everyone in theater club is expected to be involved whether in the play or behind the scenes, working sets etc. but anyone is allowed to sign up.
