[b]Overall History: [/b] Sophie had one of those troubled childhoods. The only people in her life who really cared about her were her brothers, Eric and Scott.  Sophie's family came from Berlin to Chicago when Sophie was about thirteen. All hell literally broke loose. Her father sexually abused her on occasion, and beat her mom. Eric and Scott didn't know, Sophie was too scared to do anything about it, let alone tell her brothers.

Sophie met a girl named Gemma in history class. The two became inseperable, and Sophie soon introduced Gemma to her secret world of drugs. Gemma and Eric began having a thing, but that wasn't weird to Sophie. At least not yet. The night the shooting went down, Sophie's dad had arranged someone to attack the boys, not Sophie. Eric got shot in the chest, Scott ran, Sophie got shot in her side, the bullet would have missed her if she had scooted an inch. Gemma got shot, too, but it wasn't bad. it was just the arm.

After Gemma left Chicago, Sophie woke up. She felt betrayed, and her father convinced her that it was all Gemma's fault that Eric was killed, and that she was shot. [Sophie's dad is rather demented,,] That she left because she was guilty, and she very well should be... Sophie stupidly believed it, maybe it was the drugs, who knows... But from the day she woke up on, she hated Gemma with a passion. She decided she'd move to Brooklyn with her big brother Scott and to only see [i]how[/i] miss Gemma is doing... and maybe rip her hair out too.
