Ever since the world has existed, the Digital World has lived parallel to it. The majority of Earth’s denizens know almost nothing of it, with the exception of the DigiDestined. These children are chosen to protect the Digital World and Earth from the evil of both the Digital World and Earth. They have proven time and time again that both worlds need these children, and this time it’s no different.
The year is 2009 and trouble seems to bigger, badder and deadlier. Not only is there trouble in the Digital World but it seems that Earth has issues of its own. A virus arrived in the Digital World, seeking to have the Digital World under its control. It has already gained control of some of the Digital World’s lands. As if that wasn’t bad, some of the Earth’s most powerful super-powered country’s governments have learnt about Digimon and have secretly been capturing them for study. It can be assumed that they will announce of Digimon soon, and use them for their own corrupted uses and children known “Dark DigiDestined” have began to appear, led by the virus. This is where the DigiDestined come into play.
Children around the world are receiving their Digimon partners and D-Processors, the new Digivices, and getting in on the action. Every day, new DigiDestined join the fight for survival of both Earth and the Digital World. And unless the virus and the governments can be stopped, the two worlds as we know them will change, and not for the better....
